Friday's Findings-Black Friday Shopping OH NO

Image
Black Friday is coming soon. OH wait it's here. Because it's Friday isn't it. So by the time you read this post you are either standing in line somewhere or you are at home like I am. I don't really participate in the black Friday shopping extravaganza but I know some who do. So lets check some things out. Some places to go for shopping:  Walmart. Download their app and you can get notifications of deals they are offering for Black Friday. The Mall. Visit your local mall and check out their deals. I actually might go there and see what they have at JC Penny's. I love that store. Believe it or not you can find Black Friday deals online. Visit the Handmade Community of Etsy. There are tons of great artists and they are running sales for that weekend. I will have a sale going on in both of my shops.  SHOP MABTOYS enter the coupon code 2015BLACKFRIDAY to receive 20% off of your purchase. This is a purchase of anything in the shop online. This excludes custom g...

Friday's Favorite Findings-Christmas Ornaments

Image
This Friday's Findings is about Christmas Ornaments.  Most of these you can DIY yourself. If you are like me I have tons of ornaments my daughter made when she was a little kid in elementary school. Yes, I saved them all. However, here are some ideas of ornaments to make for your Christmas Tree. #1   Christmas Wreath Ornaments #2   Knitted Christmas Ornaments P.S. I would take old sweaters or scraps and cut them into trees and decorate. This would be lovely to hang upon the tree. #3  Rustic Twig Christmas Tree Ornaments Hope you enjoy your holiday making for your home.  Thanks for reading. Melissa @MABToys

How To Thursday: Yummy Recipes Easy Homemade Chili

Who doesn't love Chili? Believe it or not there are people out there that do not like chili. I can't believe it, but there are. I make it homemade. I cannot buy it in the store anymore. My family just loves what I do to my chili. So I will be nice and share it with all of my friends.  Here is the recipe. You can crock pot it or cook it over the stove. Crock pot takes about anywhere from 4 hours on high to 8 hours on low. Stove top can take 30 minutes. For stove top gather your ingredients Ingredients: 1 pound of ground beef or ground turkey 2 cans of red kidney beans 1 can of black beans 1 can of tomato sauce (you can add to this if needed) 2 cans of diced tomatoes 1 cup chopped onions 1/4 cup chopped green onions 2 packs of McCormick Chili Season Packets Brown your beef in a pan when finished add to stock pot. How To Thursday-How to Fight Sciatica Nerve Pain during Pregnancy

Image
I have to say we are so blessed to be able to access the internet and find a world of information at our fingertips. This pregnancy with baby no. 2 is really taking a wonderful toll on my body. I am having a few other problems this time around than I did with my first daughter. Do I regret them...NO. I am just taking it day by day.  I have been dealing with a lot of sciatica nerve pain in my body. Mostly on the left side. It makes it so difficult to work at my job and take care of everyday common duties I have around the house. It also interferes with my fun time with my family. I am tired of suffering, and I know there are some other moms out there that agree.  You can take medications to help, but if you are like me you don't want to with fear of harming the unborn child. So since I love yoga and stretching so much I searched the internet one night (one of those sleepless nights that put me in a lot of pain) for stretches or yoga moves that help with this problem. I foun...
