Thursday Post From Sam & Toby

For valentines day my daughter received many small boxes of chocolates from her boyfriend. Our cat Sam saw one of the boxes sitting on the coffee table. She scooted the box that close to her and wold not let me touch it. It was her box and no one else could have it.

For those who do not know Sam is the one who loves to get in boxes and just sit. If it fits I sits!



She also likes to look FABULOUS for her photos.



My cat Toby loves to get up close and personal with you. He cannot see very well so he gets up in your face nuzzels your nose and then head boops you. That is his way of telling you that he likes you a lot.
Other than that if you cannot find him anywhere more than likely he is probably sitting in a bag somewhere in the house. In this photo he thought that it would be great to sit in my ThirtyOne tote bag that I use to carry groceries in the house. It can tote a Toby too.

Container Gardening

Have you ever tried container gardening? I have done this many times in the past seasons. It yields good results. Last year we moved to a new house, so most of my plants died off. I went out to the shed a few months ago, and noticed a small plant. It began to grow and now I have a tomato plant bearing many tomatoes. I picked my very first tomato off the plant just a few days ago. I have spent a lot of time pruning and trimming the plant, and it does help it grow. If you cut off some of the small stems you can root them to grow more tomato plants. I'm excited. I've already got over ten plants ready to go. They all came off the same plant that started. If you ever get the chance try container gardening you won't regret it.
