Monday-Yoga to Get You Started

Image
Get on the mat. It is just that simple huh?      No, sometimes it is hard. I love yoga, and I really love to practice. Even if I only get five to ten minutes of yoga stretching in a day I can at least say I tried. I don't necessary have to roll out the mat. I do some stretches in bed as well. Some just like these. I have found that over the years that yoga has really helped me. It has increased flexibility and strength. Also it has helped me with my aches and pains. Not to mention it also helps me reduce stress. I know I can use a whole lot of that.  Here are some reasons to do yoga. I hope you get to get on your mat today.  Follow me on pinterest to see the many ideas you can follow to learn more about yoga and its benefits.

Sunday's Yummy Recipe-Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing Recipe

Image
I really love this recipe . It was so good and my family really liked it and has been asking me to make it again. You can cook it in a crock pot and by the time you come home from work, church, or other activities at the end of the day you have dinner served. Just serve it with a side of roasted broccoli or carrots and you have a meal.  Check out my pinterest board here for other one pot meal ideas.

Saturday Crafts-Beautiful Shawls

Image
This month my daughter is going to military ball with a friend of hers, and I want to make her a shawl to go with her dress. I have looked all over pinterest to see what type of shawl I would love to make her and this style is perfect for her. Although, I did get a little carried away and I found other ones to try out too. So this weekend this will be my project. Photos will be uploaded soon...so stay tuned.

FINALLY FRIDAY a post that will cheer you up.

Hope you have a fabulous Friday. Enjoy your weekend and have fun.

Thursday Post From Sam & Toby

Image
For valentines day my daughter received many small boxes of chocolates from her boyfriend. Our cat Sam saw one of the boxes sitting on the coffee table. She scooted the box that close to her and wold not let me touch it. It was her box and no one else could have it. For those who do not know Sam is the one who loves to get in boxes and just sit. If it fits I sits! She also likes to look FABULOUS for her photos . My cat Toby loves to get up close and personal with you. He cannot see very well so he gets up in your face nuzzels your nose and then head boops you. That is his way of telling you that he likes you a lot. Other than that if you cannot find him anywhere more than likely he is probably sitting in a bag somewhere in the house. In this photo he thought that it would be great to sit in my ThirtyOne tote bag that I use to carry groceries in the house. It can tote a Toby too.  I like to post a lot of updates and things about the cats on my Instagram p...

For the Home

Image
My husband and I have be talking over the idea of buying a house. There are so many ideas out there that just overwhelm me, so I thought I would share some of my thoughts of what I have found on Pinterest. (psst...I love that site) You can follow me on pinterest here . For the kitchen I love this idea for the spices. You can really see them better rather than stuffing them into a cabinet (like I am doing now). They are out in the open but hidden with this special cabinet like shelf for easy storage. This also helps keep them from falling out on you when you open the cabinet door.  My husband really loves the look of this living room. He spends a lot of time viewing my phone for these ideas. I like the idea for this shower because it does not have a tub. We are not really fans of taking tub baths so the entire family did agree that showers installed would be just fine to have. I like the door on this shower because it is just appealing to me. Also, the seat...

New items are being seen in my Etsy Shop

Image
You can head over to Kats Crochet & More on Etsy and you will find all the new scarves I have just recently put up for sale. It has been a busy couple of months but you will find that I have made one of a kind scarves that compliment all four seasons. This way you don't have to wait for chilly days of fall or the cold days of winter to wear these fabulous scarves. They can be customized too. Pick a color and just send me a message to make one just for you. Does not take long for me to make them, and it adds a little bit of specialization to your item when you have "your" idea going into it. I also have for sale hats that can compliment. As for this hat that is seen to the right. It is a black slouchy beanie and it made from 4 ply acrylic yarn. Durable and machine washable you can wear this style hat with any type of clothing outfits in your wardrobe. It is that versatile. So check out the shop today by clicking here or you can visit my etsy shop b...
